Supervisors of Pupil Activity Programs Must be Cleared by CCTC 32-2009

As of July 1, 2010, Assembly Bill 1025 will require that noncertificated employees and volunteers who supervise, direct, or coach a pupil activity program that is sponsored by, or affiliated with, a school district obtain an Activity Supervisor Clearance Certificate ("ASCC") from the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing ("CCTC") prior to assuming a paid or voluntary position.
